Carlisle boss expects tough test against Reds on Saturday

15 March 2018

Carlisle boss Keith Curle expects a tough test of his side's unbeaten run when they entertain Crawley on Saturday.

The Cumbrians have not lost in five and claimed a point at Exeter City last Saturday in a 1-1 draw to keep them, like Reds, on the fringes of the play-off race.

Curle (pictured), whose side won 1-0 at the Checkatrade Stadium back in September, said: "Crawley are in a similar position to us in that they're looking up the table, having picked up some decent results through February.

"They'll provide us with another tough test, but it's one we're looking forward to. We go into the weekend with confidence and we're determined to keep our own undefeated run going.

"This is where we ask our fans to play their part. They've been fantastic with us all season and we're hoping to see them in good numbers, backing us all the way again.

"Brunton Park is a formidable place when our supporters are urging us on, and there is no doubt that they have helped us to get results and see games over the line during my time here.
"We all know the aim and I firmly believe that together we can get the job done."
