Match officials appointed for Saturday's game against Cheltenham

22 March 2018

Chris Sarginson will take charge of Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 fixture at home to Cheltenham Town.

It will be the Staffordshire official's eighth appointment to a Crawley game, but his first at the Checkatrade Stadium since the 1-0 win over Colchester in League One four years ago.

Last season he took charge of our 3-2 win at Morecambe and 2-1 loss at Luton Town.

His first Reds' game was in April 2012 when we beat Northampton Town 3-1. The following season he was in charge of our 3-0 FA Cup win over Chelmsford City, the 2-1 loss at Scunthorpe in the League as well as our goalless draw with Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup in December 2013 which was John Gregory's first match as Crawley manager.

This season he has given out 118 yellow and five red cards in 36 league and cup games.

He will be assisted by Steve Brown and Greg Read. The fourth official is Dean Treleaven.
