REDS-MK DONS CONNECTIONS

1 November 2018

Reds and Saturday's opponents MK Dons are relatively new to the Football League but three players could come up against their old clubs when the sides meet in League 2 on Saturday.

Midfielder Mark Randall enjoyed a brief loan spell at Stadium MK in January 2010 before making a permanent move to the club in March 2014. Randall played 35 times total for MK Dons scoring just one goal.

Skipper Filipe Morais made his professional debut while on loan with MK Dons when the Chelsea loanee came off the bench against Nottingham Forest in a 1-0 win in League One in January 2006. He went on to make 13 appearances for the club.

As well as Joe Walsh, another familiar face in the MK Dons squad on Saturday is defender Mitch Hancox, who joined MK in the summer after helping Macclesfield Town win promotion to the Football League.

Mitch joined Reds when Mark Yates was in charge in 2015 and played 16 times for the club on loan from Birmingham City. He made his debut in a 2-1 defeat at Plymouth and scored his first career goal for Reds in a 3-2 win over Leyton Orient in October 2015.
