Head Coach Gabriele Cioffi looks ahead to Saturday's home game against Cambridge United.
Mood after Tuesday's setback ...
That is one of the things I like about English football - straight back to work to prepare for another game in four days time. The mood is good. We know that our performance on Tuesday was good, but we made mistakes which the opponent punished. We had 22 shots at goal - if we can do this every game we will win a lot of matches, although we know this is not always possible! So yes the boys are good and looking forward to Saturday's game.
Cambridge in a false position ...
I think so. We have looked at their games. They have some very good players. Speed in attack, strong midfield and defence, very experienced goalkeeper. It is still too early in the season to look seriously at the league table. Cambridge have good players and their coach (Joe Dunne) has lots of experience of League 2. It will be a tough, tough game for sure.
Injuries in the squad ...
I won't say too much but we hope to have some more players who did not take part on Tuesday available tomorrow. We are in the middle of a busy period of games. I have told my players they must be ready to play in every game.
Strong home form ...
Lewis Young said after Tuesday it is time to get back to our fortress. I like this. We have won three home matches in a row and we want to make it four, five, six - whatever is possible. The fans were very passionate last Saturday and it definitely helped us. I would ask them for more of the same tomorrow and hopefully we can get the right result and a good performance of course.
A month in the job ....
It has gone very quickly for sure. I have enjoyed it a lot. The staff and my boys have been very positive and I like the atmosphere around the club. We have to be as one. That is the only way we can be successful in the long term.
