The FAI has confirmed that Reece Grego-Cox has been selected for the Republic of Ireland’s squad for their upcoming UEFA Under-21 Qualifiers.
Reece will be part of the squad that is due to face Israel in Acre on 11th October, and Germany in Heidenheim on 16th October.
Ireland sit third in their group, which is currently topped by Germany, and still have an excellent chance of progressing to the qualifying play offs for the tournament, which takes place in Italy and San Marino next summer.
Reece has left he squad today (Monday) and will return to the club on Thursday 18th October prior to our match against Newport County on Saturday 20th.
