Experienced referee Charles Breakspear will take charge of Saturday's clash with Newport County for what will be his 12th match in charge of a Reds game.

Of the previous eleven, Crawley have won two, lost six and drawn three, with the most recent fixture being our thrilling 2-2 draw with Swindon earlier in the season in which he sent off three players including Crawley's Josh Payne. In the past, he took charge of 1-0 defeat at home to Cambridge United at the beginning of last season.

He was also in charge of our 1-0 win over York City in 2015 and 2-0 victory over Yeovil Town in 2016, both at the Broadfield Stadium.

This season he has handed our 43 yellow cards and seven reds.

He will be assisted by Richard Kendall and Thomas Ramsey. The fourth official is Stephen Brown.
