New Head Coach Gabriele Cioffi took time after Saturday's 1-0 win at Lincoln City to meet some of the Reds' fans who went to Sincil Bank.
And he loved the improptu chorus of 'Happy Birthday' from the travelling support a day after his 43rd birthday!
He said: "The plan was to go and say hi to the supporters before kick-off, but unfortunately the traffic was very bad and we arrived too late.
"So it was a nice moment to go over afterwards and say hello and thank them for the birthday song!
"At a club like Crawley the supporters have a huge part to play. You can see afterwards how much it meant to everyone to go to the leaders and win 1-0. So thanks to them for travelling all that way to support their team.
"The day was really about the players and the performance of course, which was magnificent and full of heart."
Gabriele gets down to work with the squad for the first time on Monday.
