GABY: WE CAN BOUNCE BACK

24 August 2019

Head Coach Gabriele Cioffi is confident Reds can bounce back from Tuesday's setback against Crewe when we take on Leyton Orient today (3pm).

Reds suffered their first defeat in four despite Bez Lubala's goal but with a busy schedule at the moment there is little time to reflect before the next challenge.

He said: "Looking back, I thought our second half on Tuesday deserved something and I thought a lot of the performance from the boys was good. We know there are things we need to do better as individuals and within the team but this is normal after every game, there is never the perfect performance.

"It is a busy time for us at the moment with Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday for the next couple of weeks as well so the focus turns to the next game quickly and we know Orient will be a difficult match for sure.

"They had a very good win on Tuesday at Mansfield. To come from 2-0 down and win 3-2 shows there must be a good spirit in their group. They are at home as well.

"But we will go there with no fear, absolutely not. We have won at Walsall, drawn and Scunthorpe and should have got a point minimum from Carlisle so we can go there and get a result for sure."

Gaby is hoping to put on a good performance for the 300-plus travelling fans heading to E10.

"Our away support is very loyal and always noisy and we thank them for making the efforts to go to this game in such good numbers," he said. "I know they will be behind us and let's put in a performance for them, the club and ourselves."
