PREVIEW - OLDHAM ATHLETIC

All you need to know ahead of the Reds trip to Greater Manchester on Saturday afternoon.

20 December 2019

John Yems will be searching for his first three points as Reds Head Coach when his side make the long trip north to Boundary Park to face Oldham Athletic. Both sides will be looking for a win with only three points separating the two sides.

SCENE SETTER:

The Reds currently sit sixteenth in the table after two goalless draws under the new Head Coach in his first two games. The Reds were perhaps unlucky not to take all three points last Saturday against Port Vale with several clear cut chances being squandered meaning Yems' men missed the chance to climb the table to 14th place.

Dino Maamria’s side currently sit 22nd in the table five points from safety. The Latics have four points from their last three league fixtures having beaten Newport at the end of November, drawing to Leyton Orient at home before succumbing to Swindon last weekend.

TEAM NEWS:

No fresh injury worries for the Reds means John Yems has a full strength squad to select from this weekend.
