DRONE TECHNOLOGY ASSISTS ANALYSIS TEAM

29 January 2019

New technology has allowed the Crawley Town analysis department an enhanced way of tracking player movements and training methods.

The latest drone technology enables the club to upgrade their analysis techniques and allows our First Team Performance Analysts Tom and Patryk to get a birds eye view of players when in action on the training field.

Performance analyst Patryk Przybylski said: "Having the drone is a massive bonus for us because it means footage is captured from alternative angles and allows a different, and arguably better, perspective on what is happening on the pitch during training. When the footage is collected, we then feedback this to the management, who guide the players to ensure the individual and the team goals are met.

"It's another way of improving our tactical analysis at a highly important point of the season."

The drone was used for the first time last week in the build up to our match at Swindon and will continue to be a vital tool to Tom and Patryk throughout the season.
