Gabriele Cioffi has added to his coaching staff with the appointment of Dean Lightwood as our part-time goalkeeping coach.
Dean, 47, has a wealth of experience, both as a keeper and a coach. A well-known name in Sussex non-league football he played for several local clubs including Eastbourne Borough and Lewes.
As a coach, he has worked with the academies at Charlton Athletic and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Gaby said: “Dean was recommended to me and we had a chat at the end of last season, and I could see he was the right fit for us.
“He is well respected already as a coach and the goalkeepers are already benefitting from his expertise. He will work with us at three training sessions per week and on matchdays and I feel his appointment is another positive step forward for the club."
