17 July 2019

Eight years on from London’s successful hosting of the 2012 Games, our wonderfully diverse capital city has been chosen to host seven matches, including both semi-finals and the final, of the EURO 2020 Football Championships.

The Mayor of London is recruiting 2,000 volunteers from all backgrounds to be in the London Squad – the Host City volunteer programme for UEFA EURO 2020. The London Squad will provide a world-class welcome to visitors across London at tourist hotspots, transport hubs and at official fan zones during the tournament in June & July 2020.

You will be the face of London, showcasing our fantastic city to a global audience. The roles on offer range from bringing fan zones to life, directing visitors to famous landmarks, leading teams of volunteers at iconic venues, and many more. Whatever your London Squad volunteering role, you'll be creating life-long memories for everyone taking part, including you!

Everyone is eligible to be in the London Squad – volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels are invited to apply. All that we ask is that you're over 18 by May 2020. So, if you’re passionate about London and want to make UEFA EURO 2020 the best it can be – the London Squad is for you!

Interviews and training take place at fully accessible London venues (Wembley Stadium for interviews, City Hall for training) – both have wheelchair access and induction loops. You can be deployed to a volunteering venue that caters for people with disabilities too. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any additional support needs, as we will always do our best to accommodate them.
