Reds have been drawn away to Walsall in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie will take place in the week beginning August 12.
Crawley haven't won a game in either this competition or the FA Cup since 2013-14 which was also the last year when we faced a team in our division in either the FA or Carabao Cup.
The Saddlers were relegated to League Two at the end of last season and are due to visit The People's Pension Stadium on September 28.
