Promoted Salford City will be Reds’ first opponents at The People’s Pension Stadium next season.
They will visit Crawley on Saturday August 10 after we have kicked off our Sky Bet League Two campaign by making our longest trip of the season on the opening day August 3 to Carlisle United.
Our first midweek League game is on Tuesday August 20 against Crewe Alexandra at home.
A busy holiday period starts with a trip to Oldham Athletic on Saturday, December 21.
Reds are at home to Northampton on Boxing Day before a rare Sunday fixture takes us to Grimsby Town three days later.
We kick off 2020 at Colchester United and our first home game of the new year is on January 4 against Forest Green Rovers.
The season finishes for the third year out of the last four with a game against Mansfield Town, this time at Mansfield on Saturday April 25.
Other highlights include a trip to promoted Leyton Orient on August 24. The O’s visit Reds on Good Friday (April 10) and we head to Cheltenham Town on Easter Monday, April 13. Our first ever visit to Salford City is on Saturday February 8.
We play the first of our games against relegated clubs at Scunthorpe United on August 17 while midweek away trips are Newport County (October 22), Plymouth Argyle (January 28) and Crewe Alexandra (February 11).
