'WEEKS OF ACTION' A SUCCESS AT GRIMSBY GAME

11 March 2019

Saturday's fixture with Grimsby Town was our dedicated Level Playing Field Weeks of Action match.

Level Playing Field promote a positive and inclusive environment for disabled sports fans across the country and Crawley Town showed their support on Saturday.

Headed up by the chair of the Crawley Town Disabled Supporters Association, Barbara Robinson, the campaign saw the first team players warm up in dedicated Level Playing Field t-shirts, while Barbara and some of the DSA members were outside the stadium telling supporters how they could get involved with both the DSA and Level Playing Field.

To celebrate the campaign, two members of the Disabled Supporters Association, Yasin and Trevor joined the two teams and the referee during the walk out (pictured above). Yasin, who usually is wheelchair bound walked out ahead of the group alongside carer Anna, while Trevor held the match ball. Both received a rousing round of applause as they headed back to the stands.
