Our end of season pitch renovation is underway with the aim of providing another top-quality playing surface in time for the new season.
Head Groundsman Ben Harwood said: "Last season we did the biggest renovation programme since the stadium was built in 1997 including a new pitch and improved drainage and irrigation.
"The pitch played really well last season and we had a lot of compliments from opposing clubs and managers. We used it over 60 times with Brighton fixtures and occasional training sessions and we were really pleased.
"We expect to see grass growth within a fortnight. Not longer afterwards it will get its first cut and then everything is geared up towards the Swansea City friendly on July 13."
