Josh Smith will be in charge on Tuesday when Reds take on Oxford United in the Leasing.com Trophy at The People's Pension Stadium.
It will be his first Crawley appointment. Mr Smith is on the League list for the first time this season and in 12 games so far has shown 38 yellow and four red cards.
Dan Cook and Paul Kelly are his assistants. Paul Howard is the fourth officlal.
