GABY: LET'S HAVE ANOTHER CUP DAY TO REMEMBER

29 November 2019

Having beaten Premier League and Championship opposition already this season in cup competitions, Head Coach Gabriele Cioffi is hoping to claim another scalp from a higher league on Sunday.

Reds take on Fleetwood Town, currently fifth in League One, at The People's Pension Stadium in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup, kick off 2pm.

And as well as trying to beat a third side from a higher division, Reds will also be looking to get into the third round draw for the first time since 2013 when we lost 3-1 at home to Premier League Reading

Gaby said: "We have prepared well this week and it's a game we are really looking forward to.

"As we did twice in the Carabao Cup we are going to have to rise to the occasion and find another special perfornance against strong opposition.

"But I know the lads are capable of doing it. If we are at our best, and we have a bit of luck, we can progress and create another good moment for the club."

With Dannie Bulman and Reece Grego-Cox both available after suspension, Reds should be at full strength.

Gaby added: "Although we lost to Exeter last week, I thought our performance was good. We have two more players available but picking the team will be difficult.

"But that is a good situation to have. We have had an extra day to prepare and I am hoping the supporters come out and get behind the team. As we have seen this season they can make the difference for the lads."
