Isle of Wight referee James Linington will be in charge at Fratton Park on Tuesday when Reds visit Portsmouth in the Leasing.com Trophy.
It will be his first Crawley appointment since October 2016, when he was in charge of our 2-0 win at Charlton in the Checkatrade Trophy.
His first Crawley game was a 0-0 draw at Bristol Rovers in 2012. The following year he refereed a 3-0 defeat at Shrewsbury and was also in charge of a 1-0 home win over Swindon Town in 2014.
This season he has refereed four games - three in the Championship - and issued 12 yellow and one red card.
He will be assisted by Graham Kane and Nigel Lugg. Lee Collins is the fourth official.
