Crawley Town Football Club can confirm that the club have taken the decision to use the government support scheme and furlough the majority of our staff and first team players, with all relative submissions having been made last week.
The Football Club will continue to pay the remaining 20% of furloughed players and staff’s wages.
Although there is no immediate threat to the club’s financial future, this decision has been made in order to best protect the long term viability of the Football Club. The club are continuing to monitor and best maintain existing revenue streams, whilst also exploring new potential streams to cover any eventuality in the ever changing environment we find ourselves in.
During this period of uncertainty, the club will be operating on a skeleton staff and can be contacted through feedback@crawleytownfc.com, with emails then being passed onto the relative personnel.
