Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to announce the contract extension of club legend Dannie Bulman.

The central midfielder signs a one-year extension which will see him part of the squad for the upcoming 2020/21 season as a player/coach, joining John Yems and Lee Bradbury on the touchline

Dannie has played over 400 games for the red devils over a 14-year spell. He first joined the Reds on loan from Stevenage in 2006 before signing permanently the following season. In between his stints at the club, Bulman has also played for Oxford United and A.F.C Wimbledon.

During Dannie’s career as a Red, he's helped the club secure promotion to the Football League for the first time in the club’s history. As well as reaching the 5th round of the FA Cup in the same season where we lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford. The following season Bulman helped the club achieve back to back promotions to secure League 1 status. More recently Dannie was involved heavily in the club’s historic League Cup run which saw us reach the fourth round.

Technical Director Erdem Konyar said: I’m delighted to witness the transition of Dannie becoming a member of the management team. Dannie is a top ambassador of the club and he understands the demands to compete and win.”

First Team Coach John Yem’s said: “I am delighted to have secured Dannie for another year. Dannie is a crucial member of the team and he brings years of experience into the dressing room. I look forward to coaching alongside Dannie and seeing what ideas he brings to the table."
