As you all know we have an away match at Salford City on 8th February with a 3.00pm kick off – the game is just under month away and much to our surprise we have already filled the first coach (57 on board).
On the even better news, today we have secured a second coach from Premier, a slightly smaller 53 seater, so please still keep booking on for this game as we need a more supporters travelling to cover as much off the costs as possible, so try and persuade your friends, other family members to join you for this trip. Both coaches will have toilet facilities available and hopefully at seat phone charging points.
We depart from The People's Pension Stadium at 7.30am and cost of the trip is £20.00 for all which includes a buffet lunch on the way at the Kilton Inn at Knutsford - this is where we stopped for our Oldham game just before Christmas.
Travel plans are as follows but we are at the mercy of traffic conditions on the day - We will have a short comfort/coffee break at Norton Cains Services on the M6 Toll at about 10.15, then travel to the Kilton Inn arriving about midday. We leave there for Salford at 1.30pm getting to the ground for about 2.15pm.
We haven’t previously taken two coaches to an away match up north in a league game, so this is great news. We will keep you updated with numbers – so far we have 74 booked and we have seats available for 110.
So for this game we would be grateful if you could pay your £20.00 coach fare before we travel – I will be in Redz at any of the home matches coming up.
However before Salford City - Our next away game is on Saturday 18th January when we travel to Walsall – a team we have already beaten on their ground earlier in the season in the Caraboa Cup – our coach will leave from The People's Pension Stadium at 9.30am and cost is £20.00. We have 27 booked on at the moment so still have plenty of seats available on the coach. Please contact Alain to book on 07771-792346. We have arranging a buffet lunch on the way to Walsall at the Butchers Arms, Bishop’s Itchington a new venue for us – as a bonus they also have Sky TV - we aim to be there for about 11.30 and leave 1.15pm arriving at Walsall at 2.00pm for the game.
