10 June 2020

Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder George Francomb has today signed a new deal which will keep him at The People’s Pension Stadium for two more years.

Francomb joined the Reds at the start of the 2018/19 campaign in a move from AFC Wimbledon. Since then the versatile midfielder has made 66 appearances for the Reds in all competitions registering six assists.

Technical Director Erdem Konyar said: “We are delighted to extend George for a further 2 years. George will become a senior influence on a young developing team. His experience of promotion underlines the right mentality we want in the whole squad. This is a good start to the rebuilding of the squad.”

Head Coach John Yems said: “I’m pleased that George has signed for next year, he is a very important member of the squad and has been very influential since I arrived. Let’s hope he can play an important part in taking the team further next season.”

Further news regarding player contracts will continue to follow later this month.
