Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Henry Burnett on a one-year deal.
Burnett started his career at Dagenham and Redbridge before an unfortunate injury to his Anterior Cruciate Ligament meant he was out of action for two and a half years.
Burnett was offered a contract at Southend United last season where he featured regularly for the U23’s. Henry was loaned to Tonbridge Angels in January where he made six appearances before the Coronavirus pandemic shut down the league. Henry was released by Southend United at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Head Coach John Yems said: “We are delighted to welcome Henry to the club, he has impressed us over the last few weeks and during the friendly with Watford in pre-season. I wish him all the best during his time at the club.”
Technical Director Erdem Konyar said: “Henry has impressed us during his trial at the club, I believe he will be an important addition to the squad and I look forward to seeing him develop in a Crawley shirt.”
