Club to stream Saturday's fixture against the U's LIVE from Redz Bar

28 October 2020

Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to confirm that this Saturday's Sky Bet League Two fixture against Cambridge United will be streamed live from Redz Bar - with fans being able to book up to a table of 6.

Having been granted dispensation from the EFL and having been signed off by the local authority, fans will be able to enjoy the full 90 minutes of Saturday's clash along with commentary from Gary Smith and Tony Vessey LIVE from the comfort of Redz Bar.

With the bar opening at 1pm, the Reds pre match show, Talk Of The Town will be streamed LIVE into the bar, with fans also being able to take advantage of Saturday's matchday offer from Crawley Ballerz, meaning fans can pick up a burger, chips and a can of soft drink for just £5.

In line with government guidelines, tables will need to be booked and can be done so by contacting Redz Bar & Catering Manager, Rhona Kaye, on 07977705552. Face coverings will need to be worn when not seated, with a table service ONLY operation in place as well as a full track and trace system. Anyone seen to be not following guidelines will be ejected from the footprint of The People's Pension Stadium immediately.

With availability extremely limited, tables will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis, with NO walk-ups available on the day of the game.

With interest expected to be high, tables will be held for ten minutes after opening, and then subsequently made available to the waiting list.

Entry for 2020/21 Season Ticket holders is FREE, with non Season Ticket holders paying £5. STH will need to show their card upon entry with cash and card being accepted for all non cardholders.

Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult at all times, with Challenge 25 also being in place.

Ahead of the live stream, General Manager Tom Allman said: "It's fantastic to be able to welcome a small amount of fans back to the stadium for Saturday's game, albeit under different circumstances. A lot of hard work has been put in from the club to make sure the stadium is a safe place for visitors and I kindly ask for fans to respect the measures put in place by Rhona and our safety team so as to not jeopardise the potential to continue to stream games throughout the season. I'd also like to thank our friends from Identity Consulting who have been integral from a technology point of view, in making Saturday's event possible and I again ask for understanding should there be any technical hitches- it's our first go after-all!"

UPDATE 29/10/20: TABLES FOR SATURDAY'S FIXTURE ARE NOW SOLD OUT - FANS CAN JOIN A WAITING LIST FOR ANY POTENTIAL RETURNS
