Crawley Town Football Club can confirm that defender Josh Doherty has joined Colchester United on loan until the end of the season.
Josh has spent almost four years with the club after signing in September of 2017. Doherty has made over 100 appearances for the Reds, most recently coming on as a substitute in the 3-1 loss to Cambridge United last weekend.
Josh joined the club under then-manager, Harry Kewell, as one of the Australian’s first signings for the club. The Northern Irish full-back played under Kewell in the Watford youth setup before joining the Reds.
Chief Executive and Technical Director Erdem Konyar said: “Josh has served the club brilliantly since he joined us in 2017, we wish him all the best for the rest of the season at Colchester.
Everyone at the club wishes Josh all the best at Colchester for the remainder of the season.
