John Yems and Max Watters have both been nominated by Sky Bet League Two for Manager and Player of the month awards.
The Reds went seven games unbeaten in December, picking up thirteen points from a possible twenty-one. This included holding league leaders Newport County to a 1-1 draw despite being down to ten-men and impressive away wins at Leyton Orient and Forest Green Rovers.
John Yems has been nominated alongside Derek Adams from Morecambe F.C, Chris Beech from Carlisle United and Mark Molesley from Southend United.
Max Watters scored six times in the month of December including a hat-trick against Barrow AFC and a brace against Mansfield Town. Max was recently voted as the September/October PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award.
Max Watters has been nominated alongside Rhys Bennet from Carlisle United, Wes McDonald from Walsall F.C and Carlos Mendes-Gomes from Morecambe F.C.
The winners of the awards will be announced on the morning of Friday 8th January.
