STUART NELSON TO REMAIN A RED UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON

Experienced goalkeeper’s contract extended until the end of June

Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has had his contract extended until the end of June.

Nelson joined the club in November after an injury to Glenn Morris left Crawley with only one goalkeeper.

Nels was immediately called into action after Tom McGill suffered a nasty injury at Torquay United in the Emirates FA Cup. Nelson has made 3 appearances for the Reds since joining in November, after his appearance at Torquay, Nelson played the full 90 minutes in the League away to Harrogate. Nelson also appeared in the Papa Johns Trophy, keeping a clean sheet against Ipswich Town.

Those three appearances take Nelson to 520 total career games.
