TOM MCGILL RECALLED BY THE SEAGULLS

Young shot-stopper returns to the south coast.

12 January 2021

Goalkeeper Tom McGill has been recalled from his season-long loan by parent club Brighton & Hove Albion.

McGill has featured five times for the Reds this season in three different competitions. McGill made his debut for the Reds in the opening game of the season as the Reds lost out 3-1 to Millwall in the Carabao Cup. Tom made two appearances in the Papa Johns Trophy against Gillingham and Arsenal U21 respectively, whilst also making one league appearance against Walsall.

In his most recent appearance for the Reds, McGill was badly injured in the 6-5 win over Torquay United in the Emirates FA Cup. After a period on the sidelines with concussion, Tom returned to training before his recall in January.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Tom all the best for the remainder of the season, as well as thanking him for all of his efforts whilst at the club.
