Crawley’s first-round Carabao Cup fixture will be played on Tuesday 10th August and will kick off at 19:30. The time was mutually agreed between the two clubs and the EFL.
The Reds exited the Carabao Cup at this stage last season, having lost to Championship side Millwall on the first day of the 2020/21 season. The season prior saw the Reds reach the fourth round, in a run which saw the Reds claim their first win over a Premier League outfit after beating Daniel Farke’s Norwich City at The People’s Pension Stadium.
