Assistant Manager Lee Bradbury and today’s man of the match Tyler Frost cited a fantastic squad togetherness after Saturday’s 2-1 home win against Tottenham Hotspur U23s.

“We’re in a good place at the moment”, said Bradbury, “we created a lot of opportunities and it’s been a good pre-season. I think we’d want to go into the start of the season in this frame of mind, we’ve scored a lot of goals, conceded three, throughout pre-season and we’re really building into what we're trying to do.”

Frost was both The People’s Pension man of the match and the Domino’s Fan Favourite after bagging an assist and causing the young Spurs outfit trouble from minute one. Speaking after the game, the left-winger said: “It’s capped off a great preseason we’re really looking forward to Saturday now and we hope to be as ready as we can be, we’ve done everything we can. We’ve got something going quite well at the moment, Powelly [Jack Powell] and Hess [Jake Hessenthaler] are really getting onto it and giving the attackers a lift but yeah there is a unity at the moment and taking it into the season is going to be crucial.”

Bradbury was full of praise for Frost after the game saying: “he's got a real good balance about him, he can go either way; when he's confident he's driving at people, being a thorn in their side and he was doing it all today.”

Looking ahead to Tuesday night’s final pre-season game away at Beckenham Town, Bradbury says the team are aiming to finish pre-season unbeaten: “we need to have a look at who’s fit, who’s available, see what the manager’s thinking of doing next week, and put out a strong side on Tuesday before Friday and heading up to Hartlepool.”
