Manager John Yems and several members of the first-team squad were invited to the Hawth Theatre yesterday evening to watch the legendary Sir Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats perform live.

The band, fronted by Geldof, played their biggest hits, including “I Don’t Like Mondays'' and “Rat Trap”. The Rats’ Sax player was wearing a Crawley shirt for the majority of the show and was later joined by Sir Bob for the encore. The Irish performer was seen in a personalised Reds shirt which read ‘Geldof 70’.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Tour Manager Mark Welch and the Boomtown Rats for their hospitality at yesterday evening’s gig.
