Club apologise for inconvenience caused at Saturday's fixture

4 January 2022

Crawley Town Football Club would like to apologise for the queuing fans may have experienced at Saturday’s fixture against Colchester United.

Owing to significant staff shortages, the club made the decision to close the ticket collection cabin and house ticket purchases and collections directly from the ticket office. This, teamed with a large late walk up from both home and away supporters, meant that a queue soon formed, however, all fans gained admission before kick off. Similarly, tea bars were significantly affected by staff shortages. The club kept all 4 home outlets open for supporters despite having minimal members of staff present on the day itself. Although fans were still served, the club wish to apologise for the inconvenience and wait time caused at some of the outlets and will continue to work to ensure that queuing times across the clubs operation are minimised as much as possible.
