Crawley Town Football Club have been drawn at home to League One Bristol Rovers in the first round of this season’s Carabao Cup. First-round fixtures are due to take place on the week commencing August 8th.
The fixture will become Crawley’s third of the campaign, with a trip to Carlisle and a home time against Leyton Orient coming beforehand.
The Reds exited the competition in the first round last season, having lost 11-10 to Steve Evans’ Gillingham. Crawley embarked on a historic Carabao Cup campaign in the 2019/20 season, beating a Premier League side for the first time in the club’s history with a 1-0 victory against Norwich. The Red Devils were eventually knocked out in the fourth round by Colchester United.
