Crawley Town Football Club can confirm that striker Kwesi Appiah has joined Colchester United on loan until the end of the season.
The striker has made five appearances for Crawley this season, having finished as the 2021/22 top goalscorer.
Speaking on Kwesi’s loan move, Kevin Betsy said: “Kwesi is an outstanding professional, and we have loved working with him, but we could not guarantee him the match minutes his quality deserves. He will be missed by us all at the club, and wish him well with Colchester.”
Ahead of his departure, Kwesi said: “Thank you to everyone who welcomed me as part of the Crawley town family. The endless support from has been touching. There are so many special people who make the club what it is. I will see you all soon. Best of luck for the season.”
