Crawley Town Football Club is delighted to announce that Manager Scott Lindsey has chosen Ben Gladwin as the new club captain.
Ben made his debut for the club last Saturday when he came on as a substitute in the second half of Crawley’s 3-2 victory against Salford. Ben played under Scott at Swindon, and the new Crawley Manager is delighted to announce the midfielder as his new Club Captain.
Dom Telford has been named as vice-captain and will captain the side in Gladwin's absence.
Speaking on the decision, Lindsey said: "Ben is a natural leader, and he drives very high standards. Not just on the pitch but off it as well. He is really keen on standards. He will make sure the players are on time and performing properly. He understands the game really well and is a great communicator on the pitch. Not only that, he is a very experienced individual, and I am delighted that he is our new captain."
