Preston Johnson has issued the following statement.
“I’m looking forward to meeting with the CTSA and finally providing clarity to the fans, but I will not be able to do so on the timeline they were requesting. We are currently in the process of getting to the bottom of some sensitive legal issues within the club that I cannot comment on at this moment. I want to be able to give the fans a thorough accounting of what has happened and where we go from here. That’s what the fans want and deserve, but I can’t do that until I am able to shed more light on these legal items and provide the full picture. I hope to be able to share more in the next week and will certainly keep you all apprised of our progress so that we can meet at the earliest opportunity.”
