AFC WIMBLEDON TRAVEL UPDATE

All the information for this weekend’s travel to AFC Wimbledon

17 March 2023

Crawley Town Football Club would like to provide the following update to fans that are planning to travel to the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Travelling by train:

Whilst rail strikes are planned on Saturday, the 18th of March, it is still possible to reach the Cherry Red Records Stadium by train.

The advised route for fans is to travel between Three Bridges or Gatwick Aiport to East Croydon.

The trains between these stations are least affected by train strikes. From East Croydon, trams will run regularly to Wimbledon train station, which is a brisk 25-minute walk to the ground. The 493 bus runs from Wimbledon Station directly outside the stadium.

The last scheduled train from East Croydon to Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges is at 20:49.

Travelling by car:

There will be no parking on site (accessible spectators will be given separate guidelines). Where possible, supporters are advised to travel by public transport as parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.

You may wish to consult Merton Borough Council and Wandsworth Borough Council websites for parking restrictions around the Plough Lane area. Wandsworth operates additional matchday parking restrictions in the CPZs near to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
