Crawley Town Football Club can confirm that Jack Powell has been nominated for the EFL's Goal of the Month award for Sky Bet League Two for his incredible free-kick against Stockport County.
Powell's free-kick has been nominated alongside the following goals:
Jacob Wakeling – Salford City v SWINDON TOWN – 18th February
Wakeling even had some Salford fans clapping his audacity and technique as he judged the flight of a cross going behind him, spun and flicked the ball home with the outside of his boot.
Dan Kemp – AFC Wimbledon v HARTLEPOOL UNITED – 18th February
One of two stunning free-kicks scored this month by Kemp. With his new side trailing, the on-loan midfielder’s effort traced a beautiful curling arc from 25 yards out into the near top corner.
Andy Cook – Gillingham v BRADFORD CITY – 28th February
Solid League 2 target men like Cook simply aren’t supposed to cleverly whip the ball away from a defender on the touchline, deftly beat another and finally lift a shot into the far corner.
Vote for Jack here.
The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman & David Prutton.
