In June 2022, Crawley made their first summer signing ahead of the 2022/23 in full-back Travis Johnson, who joined the club after the expiration of his contract at Crewe Alexandra.
Travis progressed through the youth ranks with Crewe and earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2018. Since then, Johnson has made over 40 appearances for The Railwaymen, including 20 in Sky Bet League One in the 2021/22 season.
Johnson was introduced straight into the side that faced Carlisle United on the opening day, and has gone on to play ten league games this season, as well as starting in our Carabao Cup win over Fulham.
The young full-back has been hindered by injuries throughout the 2022/23 season, but has still played a part in our League Two campaign so far.
