Brother of Arsenal midfielder Joe, Matty joined the club in January 2019 until the end of the season on loan from Manchester United.
Willock has experience playing in the Dutch Eredivisie for FC Utrecht, as well as in the Scottish Premiership for St Mirren – whom he made 12 appearances earlier in the 2018-19 season - and St Johnstone.
Having spent time in the academy at the Gunners, he later joined Manchester United at the age of 16 and went on to play domestically for their under-16s, 18s and 23s. He was an unused substitute in two Premier League matches during the the 2016-17 season. He has also played in Holland for Utrecht.
