In late July 2022, Crawley secured the signing of Teddy Jenks on a season-long loan deal from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The midfielder spent the 2021/22 season with Aberdeen, where he impressed in the Scottish Premiership. Teddy made 24 appearances for the Dons, scoring twice in the process.

Teddy joined the Albion at under-10 level and has progressed his way through the Seagulls' youth setup. Jenks made his professional debut for Brighton & Hove Albion on 25 September 2019, starting in a 3–1 defeat against Aston Villa.

Jenks has also represented his country at youth level. Ex-Crawley manager Kevin Betsy gave Jenks his first Three Lions call-up whilst working with England’s under 15 team at St Georges Park.

Jenks has suffered with injuries since his arrival, but has played 13 league games as of January 2023, and is yet to score or assist.
