CLUB STATEMENT | RETURN OF FANS

Capacity for fixtures confirmed following meetings with local authority

27 November 2020

Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to confirm that following meetings between the local Safety Advisory Group and Club Officials, a socially distanced capacity for our forthcoming games has been agreed.

As part of the agreement, which will see the need for a pilot fixture, capacity for our game against Barrow on Saturday 12th December will be capped at 651 - ensuring all 2020/21 Season Ticket Holders are guaranteed a seat for this fixture. Season Ticket Holders who have yet to contact the club regarding their social bubbles need to do so by the end of play on Thursday 3rd December, after which their seat will be allocated on their behalf, in a single bubble. This can be done by emailing tickets@crawleytownfc.com

Following this pilot fixture, capacity will be increased to 1,302 - beginning with our fixture against Bradford City on Tuesday 15th December. This is in line with guidance from the Sports Ground Safety Authority. Having deducted Season Ticket Holder numbers, the remaining tickets will be made available through a priority membership scheme, of which the club will be announcing details in the coming days. Any remaining tickets will then be made available for general sale, although the club expect this number to be minimal, if any.

General Manager Tom Allman said: "I'm delighted that all the hard work undertaken over the course of lockdown is now starting to come to fruition. The research and planning for such an event has been long in the pipeline, and I must thank our Safety Team, most notably Grant Ritchie and Chris Hewlett, for all their hard work in getting us to this point in time. I ask fans for patience and understanding regarding all the new regulations that will be there to follow, as well as the process for purchasing tickets. We would like to think that the process we have outlined, including the new priority membership scheme, is the fairest way to give our supporters a chance to come and watch their team and there will be more news on this in the coming days."

Would fans please note that under current lockdown restrictions, the ticket & club offices remain closed to the general public until further notice.

Further information regarding membership schemes and subsequent ticket sales will be released in the coming days on the club website.
